She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Muttiah Panchalingam; her children, Dr. Geethanjali Mathiyalakan and Krishnanchali Panchalingam; her children-in-law, Dr. Sathasivam Mathiyalakan and Dr. Noel Casey; and her grandchildren, Varahunan Mathiyalakan and Vaikunthan Mathiyalakan.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Greater Boston Food Bank.
