She was predeceased by: her parents, Merrill Ferguson and Catherine Ferguson; her brothers, Howard and Dwayne Ferguson; and her sister-in-law Joanne Ferguson.

She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca Werden (Tyler); her grandson Brady Werden; her brothers, Douglas Ferguson and Greg Ferguson (Kandy Coe); her sisters-in-law, Janice Ferguson and Chris Cooke; and her friend Mike Neild. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association will be gratefully acknowledged.
