It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frederick R. Garvey of Medford, Massachusetts, born in Chelsea, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 5, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Frederick R.'s earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Frederick R. has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Garvey and Caroline Hickey (Ciampi). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Garvey (Mirabile); his daughter Karen (Chuck Shay) of Wilmington; his sisters, Debra Argetes, Mary Beaudoin and Judy Hickey; and his pet Jake. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home (29 Governors Ave, Medford, MA 02155).
