It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick A. Atkinson Jr. (Medford, Massachusetts), born in Hyde Park, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 17, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick A Atkinson and Dorothy Atkinson (Ryan); and his sister Barbara Soule (George) of Hingham. He is survived by: his children, Lindsey Caprathe (Joe), Lauren Atkinson (Esteban) and Chile; his siblings, Pat Smith of Douglas, Kathryn Kerr (Ray) of Dudley, Janet Lydon (Joe) of Byfield, Judy Atkinson (Bill Orsi) of Falmouth, Nancy Atkinson of Wisconsin, Brian Atkinson (Martha) of Walpole and Greg Atkinson (late Laurie) of Stoneham; and his former wife Louise Lauro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
