It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna J. Schafer of Medford, Massachusetts, born in Arlington, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 24, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank O Sr. and Mary J. Carlson (Longleway); her granddaughter Donna; her children, Jennifer Bourdeau (Chester) of Billerica, Steven Schafer (Susan) of Atkinson, NH. and Eric Schafer (Mary Ann) of Billerica; her siblings, Nancy Kendall of Malden, Frank Carlson Jr., Leo Carlson of Acton and Jack Carlson of Wilmington; and her grandchildren, Jordan, Deandra, Travis, Adrianna, Erica, Brady, Gavin, Shelby and Mavrick.
In lieu of flowers, Donna wishes all to go out with their loved ones and have dinner together, "as life is too short to not bond over a good meal".
