She was predeceased by: her father John C. Barry. She is survived by: her mother Beverly Barry (Waiss) of Valparaiso, NE; her husband Dan Leist of Medford, MA; her sisters, Barbara Fraser (Ted) of Lincoln, NE, Linda Smith (Craig) of Leawood, KS and Denise Corrigan (Patrick) of Westfield, MA.; her nieces and nephews, Emma, Brooke Fraser, Abby Cooper, Lexi, Lauren Smith, Jack, Felix and Stella Corrigan; her stepchildren, Kate, Christopher and Erin Leist; her granddaughter Maddie Cao; and her pet Gemma.
A memorial service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the College Hall Chapel at Rgis College (235 Wellesley St, Weston, MA 02493). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sts. Mary & Joseph Catholic Church (637 Iver St, Valparaiso, NE 68065).
