He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Stone and Eleanor Stone (Tuttle); and his brother Milton. He is survived by: his granddaughter Isla; his wife Lisa Amari Stone; his children, Lisamarie "Mia" Hurley (Patrick) of Boston and David Stone (Brad DiCenzo) of Haverhill; his grandchildren, Nora Mary-Rose Hurley and Braeden DiCenza; and his siblings, Gretchen, Freddy, Marilyn, Pamela, Ramona, Alan, Brenford, Larry, Donald and Dale. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
