He was predeceased by: his wife Mary A. "Maura" O'Neill (Lydon); his parents, Michael O'Neill and Katherine O'Neill (Hallahan); and his brother Robert O'Neill. He is survived by: his children, Daniel J. O'Neill (Kathleen) of Medford and Jennifer Reale (Richard Jr.) of Newton; his grandchildren, Evan O'Neill, Coleman O'Neill, Richard Reale III and Penelope Reale; and his siblings, Bridie O'Brien (Dan) of Ballysaggart and Michael O'Neill (Angela) of Clashmore. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
