It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara M. (Barrasso) Scopa of Medford, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 7, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Barrasso and Carmela Barrasso (DiMinico); her sibling Carmen Barrasso (late LaVern); and her niece Gina. She is survived by: her husband Ralph Scopa; her children, Anthony Scopa (Kathy) of Nashua and Denise Scopa of Medford; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Nicholas Scopa; her great grandchild Saphira Julia; her sister Geraldine Taranti (late Joseph); and her nieces and nephews, Stephanie (Mathew), Joseph (Nicole), Danielle, Richard, Michelle, Rhonda, Robert (Nicole) and Peter. She is also survived by many loving friends and relatives.
Social distancing protocols will be observed throughout the services and interment will be private.
