He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles G. Gavin and Imogene E. Gavin (Mcwhinnie). He is survived by: his wife Pamella Gavin (Bent); his children, Angela Gavin of Jamaica, Royton Frankie, Hueton "Clive" Gavin of Revere, Ersielee "Nickey" Gavin of Tampa, FL, Maurice "Rohan" Gavin of Malden, Dennis Gavin of Jamaica and TerryAnn Gavin-Whitaker (Edward Whitaker) of Malden; his siblings, Mable Barnes of Somerville, Edna Gavin of Woburn, Veta Gavin of Medford, June Roberts (Herbert Roberts) of Medford, Anthony Gavin (Patricia Gavin) of Jamaica and Sonia McDonald (Nicholas McDonald) of Medford; and his daughter Carlene Gavin of England. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the West Medford Baptist Church (59 Boston Ave, Medford, MA 02155). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
