He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaetano Leone and Nancy Leone (Malvone); his wife Theresa E. Leone (DeNunzio); his son David C. Leone; and his brother Pasquale Joseph Leone.

He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Ellen Leone and Margaret A. McGillivray; his grandchildren, Theresa, William, Elizabeth McGillivray, Gina and Mia Leone; and his siblings, Agnes Cunningham, Josephine Fiantaca, Louis Leone and Gaetano Leone. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
