With solemn reverence, we commemorate William Nailling Ring of Medfield, Massachusetts, born in Newton, Massachusetts, whose life came to an end on February 7, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank R. Ring and Ima C. Ring (Nailling); his former wife Ruth K. Core (Core); his wife Cynthia Ring (Swett); his daughter Mary A. Dugdale; his stepchildren, Cynthia A. Whetsel, Pamela Watson-Hogan (Patrick) and Allyson Watson; and his siblings, Frank Ring Jr., Evelyn Wood and Virginia Lane.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary Arden; his stepdaughter Virginia Whetsel D'Ercole (Joseph) of Attleboro; his grandchildren, Christopher J. Dugdale (Beth) of Wrentham, Sarah E. Dugdale (Donald R. Treannie Jr.) of Foxborough and Kimberly A. Spiegel (Justin) of Easton; his stepgrandchildren, Ethan Watson-Hogan, Andrew Watson-Hogan and Caroline Watson-Hogan; and his nephew David Ring of Newton.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home (48 Common St, Walpole, MA 02081). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the United Church (30 Common St, Walpole, MA 02081).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bill's name may be made to a charity of one's choice.
