He was predeceased by: his sister Bridget O'Sullivan. He is survived by: his wife Mary T. "Tessie" Monaghan (Riordan); his son Michael F. Monaghan; his grandchildren, Meagan, Melanie, James Jr., Erin, Rebecca, Daniel, Kayla, Taylor and Tyler; his great grandchild Morgan; his siblings, Bernadette Connaughton of West Roxbury, Ann Monaghan of Dennisport, Winifred Conneely, Kathleen Gorham, Margaret Cooke, James, Murty and Michael Monaghan; and his nephew Ireland.
