He was predeceased by: his father William G. Schmidt Jr.; and his sister Barbara Garrity. He is survived by: his mother Mary Jane Schmidt (Spence) of Concord; his children, Diane Schmidt of Boston and Kevin Schmidt of Denver, CO; his siblings, Loretta Schmidt of Shirley and Robert Schmidt of Littleton; his nephew John; and his nieces, Cara and Alina.
Due to COVID-19, a private burial service with military honors will be held at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord.
