It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sophie Hannon of Maynard, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 7, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Vincent Hannon Sr.; her parents, John Wasiuk and Antonia Wasiuk (Zelukiewicz); and her son Norman V Hannon Jr.. She is survived by: her son Robert F. Hannon of Franklin; her granddaughters, Tammy Hannon Kocienda (Johnathan) of West Hartford, CT and Tanya Ann Cloninger of Bend; her great grandchildren, Cole Kocienda and River Cloninger; and her nieces and nephews, Paul, Foster Toohey, Joan Hatstat and Jaqueline Buterlia.

“Sophie and Norm were always so kind to us when we would visit Helen. We stayed with them when I would bring Daniel to visit his grandmother. Sophie loved to laugh at my sick jokes. I think I was as close to Sophie as I was to Helen. She will be missed. My condolences to all family members. Anna Mary Toohey”
