He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary E. Martin (Ahern); his parents, Nicholas G. Martin and Ella Martin (Vincelette); and his daughter Paula E. Martin. He is survived by: his grandson Vic; and his children, Frances E. Hyden of Stow, MA, Richard N. Jr. (Gale Martin) of Dudley, MA, Donald R. Martin (Melissa Carter) of Alexandria, VA and David J. Van Nevel (Catherine) of Gaithersburg, MD. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
