With solemn reverence, we commemorate Richard L. Derby of Maynard, Massachusetts, born in Concord, Massachusetts, whose life came to an end on September 8, 2024 at the age of 76, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Derby and Flavia Derby (DeMars); his siblings, James Derby, Jeffrey Derby, Brian Derby, Anita Sedillo and Roberta Franklin; and his nephew Jeffrey Derby.

He is survived by: his wife Karen J. Derby of Maynard; his children, Ryan M. Derby and Kerry K. Wood (Jason) of Dover, NH; his siblings, Philip Derby of Blairsville, GA, Linda Dalton of Jacksonville, FL and Loretta Laskey of Pooler, GA; and his grandchildren, Josephine Wood, Nathaniel Wood and Piper Derby. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
