He is survived by: his brothers, Tom and PhDs; his grandchild Acton of T's Lincoln Laboratory; his former wives, Carol Seddon and Acton; his wife Carole Davies; his daughters, Lisa Nydick and Annette Davies; his stepdaughter Nicole Kachmar; his sons-in-law, Dan Nydick, Mike Giunta and Jon Kachmar; and his grandchildren, Erin, Nora Nydick, Chris, Adam Giunta and Dylan Kachmar.
Due to their professional contributions to the field of physics, the brothers received a joint Alumni of the Year award from the Milton Hershey school in 1978.
