She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. MacLachlan and Anna S. MacLachlan (MacDonald); her husband James Meakin; her children, Neal Meakin and Joan Tyler; and her siblings, William MacLachlan, Amy Cutler (Moe), Barbara Farnham (Ralph) and Mary Sutherland (Bob).
She is survived by: her son Gary Meakin of Keene, NH; her cousin Francis MacDonald McGann; her sister-in-law Helen MacLachlan; and her son-in-law Leon Tyler. She is also survived by her grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Acton Funeral Home (470 Massachusetts Ave, Acton, MA 01720). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Bridget's Church (1 Percival St, Maynard, MA 01754).
