He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hjalmar Teodor Valfrid (Elmer Walfred) and Katherine Mattson (Lawlor); his wife Jean C. Mattson (Lorentson); and his children, Elmer Walter Mattson Jr., Jane McGreal of Maynard, Kenneth Mattsson of Arlington, Robert Mattson of Upton and Samuel Mattson of Upton.
