She was predeceased by: her husband Charles W. Nevala; her parents, Alice Connelly and Joseph Connelly; and her sisters, Alice Cannon, Rita Farrell, Irene Stewart and Virginia Driscoll.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Finizio (Joseph) of Leland, NC, Susan Glenny (Scott) of Duane, NY, Denise Scott (Paul) of Antrim, NH, Murrells Inlet, Charles W. Nevala, Jr. (Rosemary Vanaria) of Biloxi, MS, Mary Glavin (Michael) of Sterling, MA and Thomas Nevala (Jennifer Turgeon) of Vandalia, MI.; her sister-in-law Martha Nevala; and her friends, Mary Holmes (Bunny) and Jean MacKinnon. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and friends.
