She was predeceased by: her parent Edith May (Carr); her daughter Karin Viafore; and her sister Virginia Whitney. She is survived by: her spouse Milton "Milla"; her parent Alton Phelps Whitney; her son-in-law Kenneth Viafore; and her sister Carol (George Hardy). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
