He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Grome and Mabel Grome. He is survived by: his children, Robert W. Grome (Sarah) of Franklin, Allen L. Grome (Laura) of Framingham and Brenda L. Swartzel (John) of Holliston; his grandchildren, Andrew, Melissa Swartzel, Christopher, Nicole Grome, Katherine, Rebecca and Rachel Grome; his sister Carol Passerello (Al); and his friend Jo Ann Giovanella. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the American Diabetes Association.
