We bid farewell to James E. Hart Jr. of Mattapoisett, Massachusetts, born in Somerville, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 22, 2024 at the age of 89. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Hart, Sr. and Ferne Hart (Wakeman); and his sisters-in-law, Mary Hart (late Richard Hart) and Claire LaMontage. He is survived by: his wife Myra Hart (LaMontagne); his children, Kathleen (Daniel Verret), Jim (Kerry Hart) and Jennifer Hart (Scott Thompson); and his brothers, Eugene (late Marilyn) and Joseph (Patricia Hart). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
