He is survived by: his siblings, Jorge, Christina, Mercedes, Lucia, Andrea, Manuela and Danil (Carmelo Figueroa); his stepchildren, Carmen Echevarria-Figueroa, Marisol Echevarria, Grizel Echevarria, Beatriz and Jorge; and his niece Mildred Barrera.
