As Gaytra departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Gaytra. Though Gaytra may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Lovett and Gwendolyn Ferguson; and her husband Bernadin St. Vil. She is also survived by her loving children, and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Valley Baptist Church (1248 Blue Hill Ave, Boston, MA 02126). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Oaklawn Cemetery (427 Cummins Hwy, Boston, MA 02131).
