He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah White and Nadi Bell White Sr. of Montgomery; his siblings, Lillian Hamilton, Moses White, Mary Samuel, Millie Goldsmith, Solomon White and Troy Dates; and his sons, Troy Dates, Solomon White (Millie Goldsmith) and Moses White (Lillian Hamilton).

He is survived by: his wife Paulette White; his children, Kenneth Woods (Vanessa), Marvin Woods (Cynthia), Brenice Sterling and Winona Cole (Devin); his siblings, James White, Janie Jones and Lula Palmer; and his grandchildren, Marvin Jr., Matthew, Micah, Malik, Jaquan, Jasper III, Javonte, Troy Jr. Corey, Noah, Nathaniel, Kiana and Kennedi.

He was a generous individual who loved donating to many charities, individuals, or organizations to help those in need.
