She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Cash and Andrew Hicks; and her siblings, Vernon Cash, Gloria Stuart, Andrew Hicks Jr., Richard Hicks, Charles Hicks and Donald Hicks.
She is survived by: her husband Jesse J. Thompson Jr.; her stepchildren, Tonya Norman (David) and Lamont Sanders Bey; and her siblings, Paul Hicks (Rosemarie) and Lorraine Henshaw (Wanda). She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
