He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Howell and Rilla Mae Lucas; his children, Clemon Howell Jr., Catherine Howell and Jack Howell; and his siblings, John Howard, Lucy Mae Freeman, Glennie Loving, Earnestine Phillips, Joe Robinson and George Howell.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Howell; and his children, Larry Williams, Henry Howell, Cornell Foster, Michael Howell, Bobbie Howell, April Howell, Michelle Jacobs, Tyrone Howell and Darrin Howell.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Church of All Nations (33 Elm Hill Ave, Dorchester, MA 02121). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Lawn Cemetery (427 Cummins Hwy, Boston, MA 02131).
