He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Sherman and Mary Sherman; and his siblings, Ruth Anne Paine and Robert Sherman. He is survived by: his sister Ruth Ann; his wife Carol Sherman; his sons, Gary Sherman (Sharon) and Christopher Sherman (Jeanne Tift); and his grandchildren, William LaFarge, Ali Sherman, Emma Sherman and Ella Sherman. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
