He was predeceased by: his parents, Waldemar Nelson and Emily Nelson (Kasparson); and his siblings, Raymond Nelson and Barbara Swenson. He is survived by: his wife Birgit Nelson (Sundquist) of Mashpee, MA; his daughters, Andrea Hubbard-Nelson (Bradley) of Concord, MA, Karin Nelson (Charles Cameron) of Vineyard Haven, MA and Leslie Nelson (Michael Wainwright) of Great Barrington, MA; and his grandchildren, Olivia, Colin, Linnea, Andrew, Nathaniel and Annika. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
