With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis McArdle of Mashpee, Massachusetts, born in Lexington, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 14, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Byrne and Albertina Byrne (Bettencourt); and her siblings, Dennis Byrne, William Byrne, Ronald Byrne and Dorothy McConnell.

She is survived by: her sons, Russell Irving Klopfer, III (Rachel) of Ohio and Richard Byrne Klopfer (Cynthia) of Mashpee; and her grandchildren, Christian, Effy, Alexander, Russell, Annika and Eric. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
