She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Kurt P. Shadle; her parents, Charles N. Palmer and Carmella Santini Palmer (Midge); her sister June Palmer Hasset; her former husbands, Robert E. Merrill Jr. of Hingham, Massachusetts. and Richard H. Abromeit of Carlisle; her daughters, Susan Palmer Abromeit and Kate Merrill Dunham; her son-in-law Mike Dunham; her granddaughters, Addison and Kayden Dunham of Concord, Mass.; and her pet Hadley.
