She was predeceased by: her mother Frances Estrada Vila; her husband Edward L. Peters; her sister Linda Vila; and her brother-in-law Angel Candelario. She is survived by: her children, Edward E. Peters (Missy), Evelyn Fermino (Scott) and Joanne Peters; her grandchildren, Crystal Peters, T. J. Peters, Fawna Santiago (Tony), Victoria Fermino, Abigail Booth, Iyano Fermino and Daniel Booth, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Angel Peters, Riley Santiago, Emma Santiago, Cruz Santiago, Colton Peters, Harper Peters and Raymond Peters; and her siblings, Mary Candelario, Gloria Vila (David Simons), Lupe Williams, Frank Vila, Jr. (Carmen), Paul Vila (JoAnn), Ricky Vila (Angelica), Teresa Garcia, Eugene Vila and Rosanna Burns (Zedrick).
