Gerard Paul Labute Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerard Paul Labute (Mashpee, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 17, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Labute and Bernadina Labute (Pommier); his wife Jane Labute (Dean); and his children-in-law, Michael Musto and Annette Labute.
He is survived by: his children, Christine Reid (John) of Falmouth, MA, Michael Labute, Ann Hackett of Mashpee, MA, Susan Musto of Mashpee, MA, Nancy Healy (Jim) of Mashpee, MA, Eugene Labute, Vicki Callini of Mashpee, MA and Joanne Read (Dean) of Mashpee, MA. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chapman Funerals & Cremations - Mashpee (74 Algonquin Ave, Mashpee, MA 02649). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Christ the King Parish (5 Job's Fishing Rd, Mashpee, MA 02649). A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
