He was predeceased by: his parents, George Russell and Josephine Russell (Brown); his wife Eleanor Russell (Tiberi); his son Stephen Russell; his son-in-law Gerald Hassey; and his siblings, Gertrude Wigmore, John Russell and Bob Russell.
He is survived by: his daughter Jane Hassey of Mashpee, MA; his grandchildren, Jerry Hassey of Falmouth, MA, Ritchie Hassey of Mashpee, MA and Heather Donohoe (Larry) of Lexington, SC; his great grandchildren, Trevor Donohoe of Lexington, SC, Tiffany Hassey of Lexington, SC and Kayla Burrell-Gaston of Raeford, NC; his brother Fred Russell (Jean) of Lexington, KY; and his great great grandchildren, Robbie and Skylar. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
