He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Stewart and C. Marie Stewart (Ohrenberger); and his stepson Donald Burlone of North Attleboro. He is survived by: his wife Mary B. Stewart; his children, Kevin Stewart (Bonnie) and Lisa Devine (Dennis) of Great Falls, MT; his sister Virginia Daley of Randolph, MA.; his stepchildren, Mary Jo Burlone of North Attleboro, MA, Carol Altieri (Steve) of North Attleboro, MA and Stephen Burlone (Susan) of Foxboro, MA.; his grandchildren, Justin Lewis, Joe Devine, Kelly Lewis, Donald Burlone, Kait Brown, Steven Altieri, Daniel Altieri, John Altieri, Amanda Lewis, Paige Burlone and Austin Burlone; his great grandchildren, Maxwell, Oliver Altieri, Tessa Brown and Ellie Lewis; his niece Susan Davis; and his nephew Larry Daley.
