He was predeceased by: his wife Tina S. (Burack); and his parents, Ruth Kaplan (Simon) and Romola Kaplan (Ettinger). He is survived by: his sons, Robert Kaplan (Jill) of Singapore and Adam Kaplan of Mashpee, MA; his grandsons, Miles Kaplan and Julian Kaplan; and his brother Leonard Kaplan.
