Shields (Cristin), Stephen P. Shields (Amanda) and Gregory T. Shields; his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Caleigh, Molly, Nora, Kevin, Theo and Oliver; his siblings, Patricia Dembowski, Thomas Shields Jr., Brenda Gauthier, Susan Loomer and Janice Paschal; and his siblings-in-law, Donna Walsh, Paul Russell, Barbara McGloin, Fred Russell and Janet Collins. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
