He was predeceased by: his parents, Wes Woodward and Eleanor Woodward. He is survived by: his wife Maureen York; his children, Christopher Woodward of Plymouth, Caitlyn Woodward of Plymouth, Jeffrey Woodward of Plymouth and Casey Woodward of Plymouth; his sister Dorothy "Dot" Smith; his brother-in-law Paul Smith; his children, Nicholas Smith of Marshfield, Brian Smith of Marshfield and Meghan Smith of Marshfield; and also Geribo.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the Victory Junction Gang Camp in Randleman, NC or The Cancer Center at BID Plymouth.
