He is survived by: his wife Jackie; his children, Ed Rooney (Mary) of Quincy, Beth Holbert of Norwell and Kristin Fleming (David) of Marshfield; and his sister Terry Whittemore (Arthur). He is also survived by father and grandfather (Pa) to 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
