He was predeceased by: his parents, Julia II and Stephen J. Kane II. He is survived by: his wife Linda Kane; his children, Caroline Laub (Peter) of Chicago and Matthew Kane (Ulrike) of Marshfield; his siblings, Patricia, Joyce, Mary Jean, Timothy, Brian and Kevin; and his grandchildren, Amalie and Hanno Kane. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
