She was predeceased by: her parents, George Durgin and Muriel Durgin; and her siblings, Ruth, Donald, Kitty and Joan.

She is survived by: her sons, Jay Handfield, Doug Handfield (Stephanie) of Duxbury, Brendan Handfield (Bethany) of Warwick, RI and Andrew Handfield (Ashley Leone) of Riverside, RI.; her grandchildren, Jack, Taylor, Noah, Allison, Grace, Reid, Caroline, Ainsley, Logan and Harley; her sister Dorothy "Dot" Parker (Donald) of Boylston, MA; and her husband John "Jack" Handfield. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
