He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Shepardson; and his son Edward Shepardson. He is survived by: his children, James (Yenju Shepardson) of Texas, William (Patricia Shepardson) of Indiana and Dorothy Carlson of New Hampshire. He is also survived by grandchildren, as well as 17 great grandchildren.
