He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Viola L. MacDonald (Gherardi); his sons, Richard J. MacDonald, Robert E. MacDonald (Sandra Smith) of Rockland, Steven P. MacDonald (Susan Szulak) of Marshfield and Mark W. MacDonald (Susan Mackedon) of Marshfield; his grandchildren, Jacqui Bonwell, Richard MacDonald, Coleen, Matthew, Peter, Brian MacDonald, Ashley Damon, Adam, Jason MacDonald, Leah MacDonald and Hillary Campia; his great grandchildren, Viola, Wyatt, Anabelle, Abigale, Hope, Sarah, Craig, Mikkel, Roeuman, Lillian, Fiona, Kylee, Sebastian, Michael, Rhys, Clara, Hazel and Dominic; his siblings, Mary Ester Sipola of Weymouth and John "Jack" MacDonald; his sister-in-law Joan Maddy (Gherardi) of Pembroke; and his parents, John MacDonald and Mary MacDonald (Hinkley). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday Aug 19, 2020 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal St. Marshfield. (Due to Covid19 restrictions and the Governors orders the church will be limited to no more the 35 people spaced at a Social Distance in the church at one time and facial coverings are mandatory in and out of the Church).
