With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin O'Kelly of Marshfield, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 18, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia; and his sister Ruth. He is survived by: his children, Linda, Jim, David and Beth; and also, Paula, Laura and Steven.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its restrictions, we could not see him during his brief illness, and the burial was a small, private gathering with Naval Funeral Honors.
In lieu of flowers, we have started fundraising not only for a memorial in Mel's honor, but also for scholarships for students hoping to enter the golf profession. Please consider a donation in honor of this wonderful man who lived until 97.
