She was predeceased by: her parent Lawrence "Ed". She is survived by: her parent Lurline Houghton (Spiers); her sons, Michael E. Horton of Hanson and Christopher B. Horton of Marshfield; her stepson Mark C. Horton of Windham, N. H.; and her grandchildren, Julia, Max, Zackery, Mikayla, Sam and Sally.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Martha Horton to support cancer research and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston MA 02284.
