She was predeceased by: her son Barret Platten Naylor of Edgartown; her parents, Donald Platten and Margaret Platten; her husband John R. Tyson; her brother Peter Platten; and her grandson Carter Tyson.

She is survived by: her former husband Randolph Scarborough Naylor of Darien; her children, Katherine Campbell Naylor of Edgartown and Peter Randolph Naylor (Robin); her sister Alison Vanderbilt of Woodland Hills; her daughter-in-law Kim; her daughter Cammie; her stepchildren, John (Sue) and Diana (Mark); and her grandchildren, Christian, Whitney, Katherine, Brooke and Juli.
