He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Roos (Collins); his son Robert; his parents, Arthur W. Roos and Edith Roos (McAuliffe); and his siblings, Arthur, Carol and Ruth.
He is survived by: his children, Paul, Michael, Patricia Roos, John and Lynn Suzanne Swetland (Craig) of North Carolina; and his sister Janet Weisenberger of Mattapan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
