He was predeceased by: his parents, John Boyle and Mary Boyle (Connelly); and his wife Sarah Boyle (MacMillan). He is survived by: his children, John G. Boyle (Patricia) of Harrisburg and Agnes M. Kane (Thomas) of Marshfield; his grandchildren, Kevin Boyle, William Kasper, Matthew Boyle, Neil Boyle and Sarah Kane; and his great grandchildren, Jude, Bernadette, Luke, Genevieve Kasper, Sean, Teagan, Cooper and Mackenzie Boyle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
